Getting Application Keys and IDs

In the Apiture Developer Portal, each application has a product type, as described in Products.

Depending on the product type, various ID and keys may be needed for authentication or other purposes. Typically, these include the App ID, a public key for decryption, and a private key for encryption.

Each application has its own unique information, and cannot share IDs or keys with any other application.

For more information on Authentication, Authorization and where or why these keys are needed, you may want to read the following articles and further explore the API documentation.

  • Authenticate Users in your App using OpenID Connect
  • Authenticate using OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Flow
  • Authorization and Authentication
  • API Keys

Any needed keys or IDs are accessible when viewing the application in the Developer Portal. The app ID is viewable under the application information.

Viewing Application Screen

For ids or keys that are tied to specific environments, expand the data for the row and view or copy the information as needed.
