Environments

An environment is a specific instance of data for the API to access. One environment’s data may be used for testing code while another environment’s data may be used live in an application. In many companies, common environments have been called development, staging, and production, but Apiture does not enforce this structure.

Note that environment does not refer to a selecting specific host or server; those details are handled by Apiture.

Sandbox Environment: Tiburon Community Financial

Tiburon Community Financial (TCF) is a demonstration-only Financial Institution (FI) connected to a sandbox testing environment. TCF is used for testing API commands and does not affect any production environments. The TCF environment let you see what our APIs can do for your project without committing to a private environment.

TCF has a functional the online demonstration website where manipulation to data can be viewed here. A login is required to view this website; please contact devrel@apiture.com to request access.

A banking customer is required to use TCF. Banking Customers must be manually created by Apiture staff at this time. Please contact Apiture at devrel@apiture.com to have a Banking Customer created.

TCF is a shared environment between all accounts. Do not put real-world data, and live commands, or other sensitive information into it.

Creating an Environment

Currently, environments cannot be created via the Developer Portal. Apiture will need to be contacted directly at api@apiture.com to have an environment created.
